We continue to prepare as our Gentle Hands PHASE 1 team goes this coming weekend to assess the most effective strategy for relief from the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan (locally known as Yolanda).

As we are flooded with the news, both locally and internationally, regarding the incredible damage and resulting need, our hearts and minds are continually praying for the victims and their extreme loss. To fully understand the extent of this catastrophe is impossible except for those who have lived through it.  BUT, we reach towards them armed with hope, love and a wilingness to do whatever we can.

Gentle Hands will do all we can in the coming days.

That being said, we are encouraged by the generous support from so many of you around the world. ‘Thank-you’ doesn’t seem to be a big enough word.
